We saw one at my sister in laws farm last week in Moorlands, South Australia. Another day I saw one in the city near some scrub. The one on the farm we saw later in the day at the front of the house having gone right around and was eating the African daisy flowers in the patchy grass.
They do indeed look prehistoric .
Snakes too are on the move with the warming up weather. At this time of the year they are shedding their skins and because of this are blind therefor striking out. ...this is something I did not know
Alexa from Sydney , Australia
http://www.Alexa-asimplelife.comAlexahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14359326046389139990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-743532158600929042.post-24238329857517349562014-09-28T15:42:24.130+09:302014-09-28T15:42:24.130+09:30They certainly are prehistoric looking aren't ...They certainly are prehistoric looking aren't they and that makes them interesting. They like to pinch the cat kibbles and are waiting for the mulberries to ripen and fall on the ground so they can have a sweet feast.
Anne xx**Anne**https://www.blogger.com/profile/05595796965034742923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-743532158600929042.post-18627334125202113832014-09-27T07:37:41.313+09:302014-09-27T07:37:41.313+09:30Glad I didn't step on him when I visited the o...Glad I didn't step on him when I visited the other day! :)Joolzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07490462580345458546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-743532158600929042.post-75119995186412459492014-09-27T00:21:12.340+09:302014-09-27T00:21:12.340+09:30So good when you see them in the garden.

They do give me a fright as I also think they are a snake when they move suddenly!Nanna Chelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07500527266771727074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-743532158600929042.post-29097011706995776832014-09-26T12:58:33.601+09:302014-09-26T12:58:33.601+09:30He looks cool!He looks cool!M.E.
