Tania's Home Day Care

Not a lot to blog about around here at the moment. We have found ourselves busy in other areas of our lives.

Although still a work in progress, the Day Care area is being used now and the children are loving it. The gates are finished so we have an area in the shade to play. With the lovely weather that is around at the moment it is nice to sit here and not get too hot.

I have added a cubby house, basketball ring, picnic table,

A Shell sandpit, todi car, blackboard/easel/feltboard/whiteboard and hoops.

An area for me to sit and watch and maybe sneak in a cup of coffee or tea,
blow some bubbles and a little old rocker.

Inside I have been decorating the walls and hanging a few things from the ceiling.

Our play dough table.

Home corner, still in need of more things in this area.
I will be adding a child sized table and chairs soon.

Multicultural pictures, these are aboriginal.

View from the entrance door.

Looking outside through the gates.

Looking over the gates and see how dry it is. We are looking forward to getting some rain as it has been dry for too long.

This will be my last post for a couple of weeks. We are going to be flying over to Perth on Saturday to visit our friends who are having a hard time coping since losing their daughter in November last year.

Our son is excited and a bit nervous about his first flight in a plane. Can't say I like flying either but it beats two days travelling in a car to get there, this way it is only three hours. We leave Adelaide at 6.15am and arrive in Perth in time for breakfast at 8.15am Perth time.

Take care of yourselves and I will see you when I get home.

HAPPY EASTER

x Tania

  3. Hi Tania

Guess where we are flying to on Saturday? Perth! Unfortunately, we are flying in the afternoon getting in at around 6.30 pm otherwise I would have looked out for you at the airport. We are driving back across the Nullabour at the end of the hols. Teenagers not looking forward to it! Lol!

    Enjoy your time in Perth,

  5. Tania, What a nice area! I need to do some hard thinking and come up with some new ideas because these kids are taking over the house and it never feels like *home* even when they leave!

Have a safe trip and try and enjoy yourselves.. a bit hard to do under the circumstances, I know.. but I hope you find time to relax.
    *hugs*
