We took the kayaks to a lovely spot on the gulf, it was about 8am...
Redbanks beach, where the outback meets the sea :)
The water was flat glassy calm...
Perfect...
Lots of photos taken...
A close encounter with a jelly fish....
Me...
And him...
The railway bridge that crosses over the gulf...
The Red Banks...
Mount Brown in the background...
The town....
Floating around with all this expanse of water, it was just beautiful...
Being silly because you can...
Train arriving back from Cook on the Nullarbor...
And more photos, because it was so spectacular...
It is raining today, after a week of glorious Autumn weather...
Easter blessings to you all,
xTania

ReplyDeleteThat looks so peaceful and calm. I love being on calm water too. Glad you are enjoying your autumn. That is my favorite time of year.
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely especially since I am still looking at 3 feet of snow out my window! How amazing to see a jellyfish in its natural habitat. That would be so neat to see. Happy Easter to you and yours!

Hi Tania, just followed the link from the Down to Earth blog and couldnt help but giggle at the fact that you have a Redbanks aswell, until I suddenly realised that your Redbanks and mine are the same ones. I am so thrilled to have found someone local who is embracing the Simple Living philosophy. I am just beginning my journey so i hope that you wont mind if I elevate you to Local Guru status and call on you for advice. Helen
ReplyDeleteHi Tania, just followed the link across from Down to Earth. I had to giggle at the fact that you have a Redbanks aswell, I was just wondering how many there are around Oz when I realised the piccies of your Redbanks are piccies of my Redbanks. Im so thrilled to find someone in my neighbourhood that is into the Simple living philosophy. I am just starting my journey so I hope you dont mind if I view you as my local Guru, especially when it comes to establishing and maintain a productive kitchen garden in our brutal conditions. I'll head off and have a rumage through your archieves now and see what great info I can find. Keep on blogging. Helen
ReplyDeleteWelcome Helen :)
