Fifteen years of unconditional love came to an end today.
I have a broken heart and have shed a lot of tears remembering the good times with our dear friend.
There will be no more happy greetings when you see us, no more doggy talks together, no more throwing balls...
Farewell our beautiful faithful friend Millie, we are definitely going to miss our special times together.
I know you'll miss your lovely Millie Tania and I'm sorry that your time together has come to an end. She'll be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge.
ReplyDeleteTania, I am so sorry to hear you have lost your old friend and can understand that you feel heartbroken. Big hugs. Chel
ReplyDelete:( It is devastating when we lose a much loved pet. Be gentle with yourself x
ReplyDeleteI feel for you. In RMan's and my 33-odd years together we have had 6 family dogs, and when each one died was as bad as if we had never experienced it before.
ReplyDeleteLosing a best friend is very tough - all I can offer is to remind you that she loved you as much as you loved her - and she knew she was loved. She couldn't ask for more.
Take it easy.
I'm sure sorry. I know from personal experience how hard it is to lose an animal friend. If people have souls and an afterlife, I can't see why animals would be any different.
ReplyDeleteSorry you lost your old friend. Been there, done that - it hurts.
ReplyDeleteOh Tania, it breaks our heart when we loose such a faithful friend, I know well.
ReplyDeleteTake heart, now she has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, she no longer feels any pain.
Sending hugs from the Pacific NW coast,
How sad to read you have lost your dearest pal.. i still have tears for our Lucky dog. They never leave us.. take care ..
ReplyDeleteSo sad to hear this news Millie rest in Peace Love Geoff and Heather xxxxx OO
ReplyDeleteI have a little tear for you and my own old dogs. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteThinking kind thoughts for you today Tania. Though we never forget our beloved furry friends the pain of losing Peppy has been erased by the antics of Miss Tilly. Such a character and SO SO much energy. We had Pep so long we have forgotten how frantic and funny they can be when young.
ReplyDeleteI am so very sorry for your loss, she will be waiting for you at the rainbow bridge I really believe that xxxx
ReplyDeleteThinking of you. It's so hard losing a faithful friend. Take care.
ReplyDeleteAnne xx
So sorry matey, they get under your skin don't they :( Bugger about the veg garden.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. God makes something very special when he makes a good dog. They are never forgotten.
ReplyDeleteLots of love to you at this sad time.Nothing beats the unconditional love and loyalty of an old dog. x
ReplyDeleteIm so sorry to hear about Millie, we had to say goodbye to our Fred a few weeks ago. Miss those hellos when you arrive home. Big Hugs
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for your loss. Our pets become members of our family and it's never easy to lose a loved one. I have had three dogs in my live and have grieved the passing of each one. But now, years later, I still remember them fondly. Huggs.
ReplyDeleteOh Tania, I have only just read about the huge loss of Millie. I know I will be totally heart broken when the day comes that we lose our Tilly.
ReplyDeleteI have been a bit slack on the reading and comments lately, as I have started a new face book page and it has swollowed up a huge chunk of my time, But I am thoroughly enjoying it all.Your garden has done quite well considering the shocking heat and lack of rain that we have all endured.Best wishes to you, and if you travel, keep those blogs rolling.
Cheers,
Jane.
So sorry to read this Tania!
ReplyDeleteHope you are all coping ok.
