the great outdoors

Hello dear friends,

Just a quick post to share some random photos I took a couple of days ago when out and about with the hubby.

These were taken on my cheap mobile phone and I think they turned out quite well.

The day was a beautiful sunny, calm day, perfect for capturing some good photos.

Taken down at the town centre where the top of the Spencer Gulf begins to meet the outback.  There are two parts to our town and a bridge over the gulf that joins the two.

I took these from the west side...

Looking across the gulf to the shopping precinct on the other side.

And from the east side...

Welcome Spring, I am so glad  you have arrived.

Wishing you a lovely weekend and Happy Father's day on Sunday to all the dads out there.

xTania

  1. That looks like a really great beach. Nice place to spend a few days and just relax. I wouldn't go swimming there, though! You folks have too many big sharks and big crocodiles for me to go in over ankle deep. ;-)

  2. 'Aaaaah take me there, looks soooo good.' Just looking at your beautiful photos is relaxing. Looking at water, blue everywhere, fresh air and the warm sun on your back is perfect.

  3. Great photos Tania. I love relaxing by the water, watching the sun glance off the gently rippling surface. I hope you have a great weekend too.

  4. I've just realised I've been to your town when I saw the photo's of the boardwalk next to the water. We stopped there (parked right next to that boardwalk) on our trip to Uluru last year! We stopped and did a big shop at the Supermarket before heading up the road to Cooberpedy!

  8. How peaceful those blue waters look. I think I'd be staring at it all day. Nice to see there's not a lot of boats, congesting the view.

  10. I have never been to the Spencer Gulf, Tania, but what a contrast it must be to the desert so close by. A beautiful place! Meg:)
