Cornflake Biscuits
4oz butter
1 egg
1 cup SR Flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup sultanas or currants
cornflakes (I used crunchy nut cornflakes)
Cream butter and sugar till light. Add egg and beat well, fold in sifted flour and fruit. Roll balls into crushed cornflakes. Put on oven tray and bake in moderate oven until golden.
I stopped making these as they became too addictive.lol
ReplyDeleteYes, they don't last long in our house, either. We add choc chips...hey, we add choc chips to just about everything!

Thanks Tania! I'll file this recipe away for... well, I'll probably use it sooner rather than later!
