Thanks to my friend Wendy for this recipe.
FRUIT CAKE
750gms mixed fruit
2 cups of orange juice
Mix together and leave overnight.
Add 2 cups SR flour and 1tspn mixed spice.
Mix well and bake for 1-1.5 hours in a moderate oven.
Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteOtherwise I dont know as I am not sure what the juice does within the recipe. Water might even work....
Hi Tania, this is agreat recipe.. did you know that using flavoured milk gives the same result?? I have used chocolate and also honey crunch flavoured milk. so easy and very nice.. :))
ReplyDeleteTania, the "mixed fruit" you have in the recipe, is that mixed dried fruit? Does it come all together or do you buy things separately? Thank you, again. I LOVE fruitcake, but have never made any myself.
