Although this only took me about five years to complete lol, I am pleased with the way it turned out.
Special thank you to Beverley who helped me all the way through this process.
I don't think I have the patience to do too many more quilts, little quilting projects will be okay though.

Gorgeous, and so clever! Right now I am looking at buying a quilted throw for our loungeroom after an unsuccessful morning at Spotlight & op shops for fabric to make my own... and because I am sure mine would take 5 years too!!
ReplyDeleteYou are very creative!
Well done for getting in finished! Now that you know the process, smaller wall hangings etc should be easy.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations, it looks great. I love the colours of your quilt. My sisters got me started on quilting a cushion cover. Thankfully one of them eventually took it away to finish it. While quilting looks wonderful, it just wasn't for me.

ReplyDeleteI look at quilts and admire the skill involved, but no way do I have the patiences to do one my self, so well done. I love the colours. I would hate to use it after 5 years of work!!

The comments look good Tania, they are lovely to read, you've done a good job setting them out.
ReplyDeleteThose colours are so classic, a beautiful quilt!
ReplyDeleteIt looks very nice! Especially for your first! I still haven't finished my first quilt yet! I'm getting closer to the finish line. Been working on it for 2 or 3 years now. One of these days I'll get her done!
