Twenty years...where did it go?

Yesterday marked twenty years since hubby and I first met.

This is what I received for my 20 years of service lol...

flowers

card

& wine

from the heart...
A lovely bunch of flowers...

I am looking forward to the next twenty, hopefully they wont go as fast as the last twenty.

Love is patient, Love is kind,
It does not envy, it does not boast,
It is not proud, It is not rude,
It is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered,
It keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil,
but rejoices with the truth.

Love always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.

Love bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never ends.

  5. What a lovely man you have there. In this day and age when so many relationships fail, it is so lovely to see a partnership still thriving on love and passion and mateship.
I've been with Gus for nearly 29 years and married for nearly 25 so I am one of those lucky ones too!

  11. Thanks once again Ladies. We have had some rough times and some good times.
But its all the about the special times. Life wasn't meant to be easy just "Sorry" "BLOODY hard", but we have battled through. You know when you see that special person. Well I can still see my special person.

  14. Hi Tania,
Happy anniversary-----and take it from me,the second 20 yrs seemed to go faster than the first for my hubby and me. We will be married 49 yrs this year and we have 4 married children,9 grandchildren and 2 beautiful great grand children.
Thanks for visiting my blog and saying nice things about my Ugg boots. My family all love it when I do slightly strange things like this, and I like to amuse them -- it's fun for me....

    God Bless
