Wind, Dirt and a beautiful Sunset

Yesterday the temperature reached 31C (87.8F) and we are still in Winter. Today is cooler with 23C (73.4F) but still a lot warmer than usual. We have had very little rain this year so things are looking dry, which is not unusual for this area.
Last year we were blessed with a lot of rain, but I dont think that is going to happen this year...

The blustery wind picked up the dirt.

But the sunset was beautiful...

Have a great day everybody!

  2. Yes, it was so warm yesterday wasn't it. I think it got to about 25 or so here in Adelaide. It makes me worry what Summer is going to be like this year :-(

  4. Oh Tania what beautiful sunset pictures, just stunning.

Not sure if I could cope with living where you are I don't particularly like the heat, so 31deg.in August, hmmm........

It's 22 deg here today and a little blowy. I have been out in the garden most of the day and believe it or not have put sunscreen on in Winter, not good. I did hear a forecast saying this Winter was going to be warmer than usual and they were spot on. Haven't heard what to expect for Summer. Just hope it's not humid like last season........

Hope the wind didn't blow too much of the dust and dirt inside........

  5. I've read that it's the dust in the air that give sunsets their color. Still we CAN have too much!
