A fox has been visiting and stole one of our baby chickens. It was 9.30 in the morning when he struck, thank goodness we were home and heard the ruckus unfolding. Unfortunately he has been too clever to get caught in this trap...
Pig poo sprouting...
Tried to capture steam rising from the fence,
I failed, but still a nice pic.

With all those yummy dinners and gorgeous sunsets, I might just decide to move in as a permanent guest. :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time in Alice Springs! Can't wait to see pics when you return.
Hi Tania. It is so weird to think that we are having completely opposite weather patterns here. Your pics are so great. How many hens do you have? I have 14 now, and am shooting for having a dozen eggs a day. But 7 of them are not yet to age of lay. Couple more months!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kris
What great sunset photos. Love those mug cosines, very clever:)))
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your pictures of the sunrises and sunsets. I have chickens here in the Smokey Mountains, and I lose a few to foxes and possums. If you catch the fox, will you relocate him? I had bears coming up years ago and the forest service had to trap them and haul them off to Tennessee to release them. I try to avoid killing any animals if I can help it. Not a bunny hugger, just don't like to do it.
ReplyDeleteTania,
ReplyDeleteTime for an update! I'm interested in what's going on way out there.
