June Wrap Up

~Home cooking~

Beef stir fry

Corn beef fritters

Pineapple dessert

~Out Back~

 The super moon

 The salt lake has water...

A touch of frost...

something we don't see very often.

Chickens enjoying the green...

A fox has been visiting and stole one of our baby chickens. It was 9.30 in the morning when he struck, thank goodness we were home and heard the ruckus unfolding.  Unfortunately he has been too clever to get caught in this trap...

 Pig poo sprouting...

Tried to capture steam rising from the fence,
I failed, but still a nice pic.

Chickens are laying very well...

Collecting around a dozen a day.

Stunning sunrises

And sunsets.

For a recycled can

 and mugs

one for him...

 and one for me...

We are going on a road trip to Alice Springs this week to attend the wedding of my nephew,
and I will see you all when we get back

Sweet Blessings,

Safe traveling to the wedding and have a wonderful time.
    Anne xx

  2. Love the photos, Tania and what great meals you have cooked. Enjoy your trip. The weather should be good for travelling in the Outback at this time of year.

  11. With all those yummy dinners and gorgeous sunsets, I might just decide to move in as a permanent guest. :-)
Have a wonderful time in Alice Springs! Can't wait to see pics when you return.

  12. Hi Tania. It is so weird to think that we are having completely opposite weather patterns here. Your pics are so great. How many hens do you have? I have 14 now, and am shooting for having a dozen eggs a day. But 7 of them are not yet to age of lay. Couple more months!

  13. What great sunset photos. Love those mug cosines, very clever:)))

  14. I enjoyed your pictures of the sunrises and sunsets. I have chickens here in the Smokey Mountains, and I lose a few to foxes and possums. If you catch the fox, will you relocate him? I had bears coming up years ago and the forest service had to trap them and haul them off to Tennessee to release them. I try to avoid killing any animals if I can help it. Not a bunny hugger, just don't like to do it.

  15. Tania,
Time for an update! I'm interested in what's going on way out there.
