Just a short drive from Coober Pedy is this gorgeous sight.
One of the wonders of the Outback
Full of differing pretty colours
No words needed for these pics
ENJOY!
This was the best time of the day to see the Breakaways.
From 4pm to sundown...perfect!
I hope you have enjoyed taking the journey with me J
Normal blogging will resume shortly.
Wishing you a fantastic day!

Your posts have been outstanding. I looked at the pictures for a long time. What fun I could have there with my brothers and a good four wheel drive truck. We like to go to very out of the way places and explore. I won't get to do that over there, we are all too old now, but I've sure enjoyed your postings about the trip.
ReplyDeleteWhat a spectacular landscape! Have a great holiday!
ReplyDeleteI love the colours very pleasing to the eye, but also quite barren at the same time. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing the photos of your trip, Tania. My my, what a dry and desolate area you drove through. You wouldn't want to break down there would you? I don't think there would be any mobile phone coverage to ring for help. Gorgeous scenery!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful holiday! Thank you for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteYou know I lived my whole life, well up until last year lol, in SA and have never been to Coober Pedy and surrounds. I have never even heard of the Breakaways lol. Thank you for showing me this part of my home state. They look amazing!
ReplyDeleteFirst time I have seen the breakaways too Colleen :)
