What did you change Tania, because I am having trouble recognising the word veri's and have to try sometimes 5 times to get a comment through. Blogger seems to be very picky if you get one letter wrong!

You can change who can leave comments, change it so that anonymous people can't post, that will stop the spam.....that's the key, get rid of the word verification and leave moderation on. This works for me, honest. ♥
I have never had any problems Tania whether the word verification was on or not. Hopefully it is all worked out for everyone now though!
ReplyDeleteThought I'd try it, since I left your blog in aggravation the other day. I'm wondering if the fact that I used the old interface until they took it away from me made a difference. With the new interface today, I had one spam mixed with the good comments, and one good comment in the spam folder. Maybe the old interface was better. If so, we can hope they at least TRY to work the bugs out of the new one.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like people are not having much trouble leaving comments but maybe you should delete this post later as it could be a red flag to spammers!

ReplyDeleteI got my first spam comment this mornig. I have it where anonymous can't post...but this comment was from a person (that I don't know) and totally unrelated to my post...I blocked the guy...good luck to you
