I am in a state of shock at the moment.
My dearest friend from Perth rang a little while ago to tell me that their dearest daughter had passed away in her sleep last night. She is only 25 years old and has a little boy. She and her son were living at home with my friend and the rest of her family.
My friend wants me there with her so I will be absent from here for a while, not sure how long that will be. I have a lot to organise tomorrow before we can go.

Tania just dropped by and read your terrible news. I will add my prayers to those already being said for your friend and her family and I will also pray for you to be given the extra strength to help your friend through this time, with wisdom, grace and humour.

I am very sorry to hear this. The loss of a child, what can I say? Friendship is the balm.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear that Tania.
ReplyDeleteTania, this is very sad news, so sorry to hear about this. You are in my thoughts and prayers also. I hope you have a very special dear time. Take care,
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your kind words, prayers and best wishes.
ReplyDeleteI will be going on the Indian Pacific to Perth this Thursday. My son and eldest daughter are going to come with me.
I have a dreaded fear of flying, otherwise I would have already been over there. If my friend needs me sooner though I will bite the bullet and catch the plane.

Thank you Therese.
ReplyDeleteTania, May the Lord go with you & your family. May He comfort your friend and their family. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteTania, I'm so sorry to hear this. I lost my daughter in 1992 when she just fell asleep and never woke again and I know how devastating it can be to have no answers as to "why". It was the love and prayers of good friends that got me through it, so Bless you.
ReplyDeleteYou are all in my prayers...
