sung by my all time favourite singer, Johnny Cash.
This is my mother's favourite hymn.
HOW GREAT THOU ART
Oh Lord my God when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds thy hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed
Then sings my soul my saviour God to thee
How great thou art
How great thou art
Then sings my soul my saviour God to thee
How great thou art
How great thou art
When Christ shall come
We shout a proclamation
To take me home what joy shall fill my heart
Then I shall bow in humble adoration
And there proclaim my God how great thou art
Sunday Blessings,
Tania
I love this song too.
ReplyDeleteI love this one as well. It brings back such sweet memories... and I love to play it on the fiddle. I can't carry a tune in a bucket though. :o(
ReplyDeleteA beautiful praise song - you can't help but sing it straight from the heart.
ReplyDeleteI havnt heard Johnnys hymns, I will have to invest in this. This song is one of my dads favourites and was sung at my Nanas funeral - his mums. Ever since then it makes me cry. I do believe if I heard Johnny sing it I would be in serious tear mode. He makes me cry by looking at him! I have such a soft spot for him.
