On my Ukulele, I keep strumming daily...

Hubby surprised me with this gift yesterday...

I had been talking about wanting to learn to play one of these...

So now is my chance :)

Maybe I will end up playing like this

Sara Watkins...Different Drum

Gosh I wish I could sing!

or this
by
James Hill...

Do you play the ukulele or another musical instrument?
I love to hear...

Have a great day!

Pildappa Rock - South Australia's best kept secret

On a recent camping trip we called into a little place that I hadn't been before.  I cant believe I didn't know about it.

Pildappa Rock...

South Australia's own wave rock!

Hubby on the way up...

Waiting for me...

Swanie making the climb...

On my way...

It was beautiful once at the top with lots of little rock pools...

 We could see for miles...

there were tadpoles...

A neighbouring farm...

Me...

Lovely views and nice backdrop for a photo...

Pair of scrubbers we are after a few days in the bush lol!

 Our cars from the top...

Beauty...

These rocks appear to be just sitting there...

Around the other side of the rock...

It would be a nice spot to camp.
This couple and children had camped there for a few of days on their way from Western Australia to Victoria...

So this is our "Wave Rock"

Be sure to call in when passing through you will be glad you did!

Pildappa Rock can be found a short drive from Minnipa South Australia.  Minnipa is on the main highway across Australia.

Counting the Pennies

Two years of dropping coins in here...

Yielded...

Enough money to pay our council rates for this year with a little leftover to use on another bill...Total in tin $1,774.60.  The rates are $1586.00.

We have bought two more smaller tins this time as the big one tended to collapse when it reached  about three quarters full.

Every pay day I empty the coins that are leftover in my purse into the money tin.  Any other spare change is also put in there.  Amazing how it builds up into a nice little bonus.

Do you save your small change?

Beauty Abounds in Nature's Gifts

Scenes from our back yard

There are gentle signs of Spring...

The beauty of nature always astounds me...

Stop and take a look around....

It is looking gloomy here today but things should look brighter when we warm up to 24C for a couple of days next week.  The warmer weather is slow to arrive this year...

Wishing you a lovely fun filled weekend,

xTania
